    Job Title: Clerical Assistant
    Employment Type: Contract
    Work Hours: 40+hrs./week
    Work site: 100% Onsite
    Location: Bronx, NY 10473
    Salary : $ $28.56/hr

    Minimum Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Work Experience:
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clerical or administrative role preferred.
  • Experience with document scanning and filing is desirable.

  • Job Duties:
  • Scan and convert all paper copies on record to digital copies.
  • Mainly responsible for scanning and filling documents in the office.
  • Utilize knowledge of Microsoft Office and other various systems to carry out tasks effectively.
  • Order supplies and services as required for smooth office operations.
  • Develop and maintain an effective filing system to ensure easy access to documents.
  • Prepare and proofread office documents to ensure accuracy and clarity.
  • Operate and maintain office equipment such as printers, and replenish office supplies as needed.
  • Learn additional systems such as Oracle, Gas Central, HR Payroll, and other applicable systems as required.
  • Support pressure control with daily functions, primarily scanning paper records to obtain digital copies.
  • Input time in HR Payroll, Perform WOs completion in Gas Central, Support Pressure Control Responsibilities such as ordering permits, coordinating street flaggers and parking savers, paying and receipting invoices in Oracle, looking up assets in ARCFm and Vision, and other various responsibilities as assigned.

  • Preferred Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with document scanning software and office equipment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to develop and maintain filing systems effectively.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and proofreading.
  • Ability to learn new systems and software quickly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently.

  • Misc. Information:
  • This is a fully onsite position.
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday; 7am - 3:30 pm
  • The pay range varies based on years of experience.
  • The position may involve occasional additional responsibilities as required by the employer.
  • Interview will be conducted In-person or Online based on the availability.
