    Job DescriptionSpanish Schoolhouse was established in 1999 with the mission of helping children throughout Texas learn the Spanish language at a young age. We are looking for nurturing, talented educators to form part of our amazing team. Join us in our goal to spread the love of the Spanish language and Latin culture to children

    While we are a Spanish immersion school, we also provide 30-minutes of English instruction to our three and four-year-old students to ensure they are prepared for elementary school.

    Responsibilities of a PRESCHOOL ENGLISH TEACHER include:

    · Creating a safe, nurturing, and welcoming learning environment for our preschoolers in 30-minute English class sessions.

    · Prepare fun and engaging lesson plans geared towards hands-on learning.

    · Setting classroom rules and expectations using positive discipline.

    · Helping each child reach their full potential through individualized attention with a focus on engaging them in conversation and hands-on learning.

    · Documenting children's daily activities and developmental growth, and keeping parents informed of any daily problems or issues.

    · Maintaining positive relationships and communication with students, parents, and team members at all times.

    · Other duties as assigned by the Director.

    Requirements of a PRESCHOOL ENGLISH TEACHER include:

    · Bachelors degree preferred. A high school degree or equivalent required

    · Speak, read, and write English fluently

    · Demonstrate enthusiasm for learning and early childhood development

    Preferred Skills and Abilities of a PRESCHOOL ENGLISH TEACHER include:

    · Previous teaching experience

    · Classroom management abilities
