  • Structures and conducts best practice research, process analyses, benchmarking and performance measurement activities, such as baseline and postworkshop sustainment metrics.
  • Identifies the process or operational area requiring redesign or improvement and develops project plans, facilitates meetings to accomplish the identified tasks, and documents project outputs.
  • Improves processes using performance improvement standards and methods, such as 5S, Lean, VSA, Six Sigma, process mapping / reengineering, and collaborative problem solving techniques.
  • Develops standard work within process areas and the PI functions and collects and presents data analysis results.
  • Leads the A3/IMPRV process and design for rapid process improvement workshops (RPIW) and value stream analysis (VSA), including business justification, baseline and current state performance, and accurate scope for the project.

Qualifications

  • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree: Engineering, Health Care Administration, Nursing, Business or related field (required)
  • Lean or TPS training (required)
  • Lean / Six Sigma Black Belt (preferred)
  • 46 years' experience facilitating process improvement teams / role as a change agent
  • 46 years' handson experience with process improvement methodologies and approaches at an organizational level, including rapid improvement events
  • Training in continuous quality improvement and process management
