Mechanical Plumbing Business Development - MICHIGAN, RELOCATION ASSISTANCE

:

Facilities Resource Group ("FRG"), national commercial tankless water heating
and plumbing solutions provider, seeks a Business Development Manager
with a background in mechanical and commercial plumbing and/or tankless water heating**.

Must have astute mechanical plumbing in-field management experience and demonstrate exemplary business savvy, an innate drive to succeed, the ability to lead out and a willingness to challenge the status quo.

JOB DESCRIPTION:


The Business Development Manager works onsite in Comstock Park, Michigan ( CANDIDATES MUST BE WILLING TO RELOCATE ). Position expected to be travel-heavy the first 3 months, with travel tapering off to approximately 25% after introductory period.


This role positions the Company for long-term growth and success through the generation of new leads and sales, by procuring and nurturing business relationships.

The ability to learn and grow with the business and to adapt and flex accordingly is absolutely imperative. Gleaning knowledge will be an ongoing concerted focus area during initial period.

Once acclimated, the Business Development Manager seeks, identifies and secures opportunities to increase overall Company sales, profit, or value, and stimulates continuous development of the business, while keeping best interests of Company and Customer at the forefront.


Works with other members of management to ensure key target objectives are aligned with the Company's capabilities, as well as its mission, vision and values.

Exhibits strengths in areas of strategic planning, resource allocation and demand planning, change management and market factors that are pertinent to self-performed, self-mitigated, commercial mechanical plumbing work.

Represents the Company with utmost integrity and professionalism in all dealings and travels on behalf of the Company, acting as a representative in customer meetings, at conferences or trade shows, or visiting our job sites.

This role performs occasional hands-on work in the field with the team or audits the work performed, in order to ensure Company and department KPI's are being managed and met consistently, or adjusted as necessary, and ensures the Company is meeting or exceeding standards in all areas of compliance.


Demonstrates a powerful, take-charge attitude when appropriate, but is often able to achieve desired results through creative navigation of thoughtful discussions, assertively addressing collaborative challenges in a manner which gains others' trust and results in stakeholder buy-in or agreement.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Reside in / relocate to Michigan:

  • Collaboratively contribute to success of mechanical plumbing work performance, provide direction on projects in shop or field, and/or audit performance as directed;
  • Drive Company objectives and actualization of new market potential business;
  • Generate business in potential new markets and expand business in current markets;
  • Identify and implement measures to set, track and meet/exceed objectives;
  • Build / strengthen the brand and market presence, loyalty and awareness;
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities;
  • Develop and deliver presentations, marketing campaigns, reports, etc;

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION & REQUIREMENTS:


  • HS Diploma or Equivalent, Valid Driver's License & Authorized to Work in US;

MUST HAVE 8+ Yr of Commercial mechanical plumbing, piping or HVAC;:


  • Bachelor's, Master Plumber or Mechanical Contractor License PREFERRED;:
  • Must be able to read and work from Blueprints, ISO's or engineering drawings;
  • Willingness and ability to perform handson physical work and lift up to 75 pounds;
  • Willingness/ability to travel nationally heavily the 1st 3 months, then as needed;
  • Exceptional analytical and mechanical competencies, knowledge and aptitudes;
  • Completion of standard background, drug screen and onboarding requirements;
