- Assist in assessments to identify speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
- Support the creation of personalized treatment plans based on assessment results and client goals.
- Deliver therapy services including speech and language therapy, voice therapy, fluency therapy, and swallowing therapy.
- Implement tools and techniques to enhance communication skills and improve speech articulation.
- Collaborate with families and professionals to provide support and education on communication disorders.
- Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and report findings to licensed SLPs.
- Stay updated on advancements in speech-language pathology through professional development.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and contribute to school success.
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
- Valid state certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
- Previous experience in a related role is preferred.
- Knowledge of assessment tools and therapeutic techniques in speech-language pathology.
- Ability to work under supervision and collaborate effectively within a team.
