    Job Description

    Our Company: BCI Brands, LLC. designs, sources, and markets an extensive range of women's career, casual sportswear, and dresses nationally and internationally. Their products are sold through primary retail distribution levels under various trademarks and private label brand names.

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    Exciting opportunity for an experienced Sweater Technical Designer to work in a creative environment and grow with the design team.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Independently determine and set garment engineering standards for product development to final production.
    • Lead cross functional fit sessions.
    • Collaborate with Designers and Merchants to understand the design concept.
    • Influence changes to ensure product fit and delivery goals in bulk production.
    • Manage tech packs throughout development and production.
    • Communicate daily with teams and overseas office.
    • Record fit session comments and ensure clear alignment on plan of action.

    Requirements

    • 8-10 years sweater technical design experience.
    • Strong knowledge in sweater construction and finishing.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Demonstrate strong fit sessions.
    • Understanding of garment engineering and factory operations.
    • Ability to multitask, adapt to change, and manage risk.
    • Solution-oriented role model.
    • Ability to independently manage tasks within specified timelines.
    • Eye for design aesthetic details.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.
    • Experience with Adobe Illustrator is a plus.
