About us:

Yuma Nursing Center is a 120 bed skilled nursing/rehab facility. Nurse leadership is stable and supportive. We offer full and part time 8 hour shifts with flexible scheduling.


Responsibilities:

• Electronic Medical documentation required
• Ensuring quality assurance and regulatory compliance while promoting the highest degree of quality care and service
• Overseeing coordination of residents' health and wellness needs
• Working closely with family members and consulting with community physician(s) to ensure residents' needs are being attended to in a personalized way
• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor and record patient vital signs
• Assist with wound care and dressing changes
• Conduct patient assessments and document findings
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and selfcare techniques
• Maintain accurate and uptodate medical records
• Follow infection control protocols to prevent the spread of diseases
• Ability to lift and move patients as needed
• Perform basic IV therapy and venipuncture procedures if RN

Qualifications:

• Graduate of approved college/school of nursing
• Valid LPN/RN license in the state of Arizona
• Demonstrated knowledge of nursing practices, techniques, documentation and methods as applied to skilled nursing and resident care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Reliable and with good attendance
