Strategic Planning

Develop enterprise network strategies that span multiple cloud vendors, on premise data centers that align with IT strategic direction
Drive strategic planning initiatives related to the Information Technology department.
Responsible for Technology Design, Standards and Roadmaps.
Provide leadership at an enterprise level on technology specific councils.

Technical Project Leadership

Provide leadership to complex cloudbased network technical projects
Manage all technical aspects of assigned projects, including project charters, stake holder engagement, design, resource and cost allocation, implementation and delivery, sustainment and project closure

Business Unit Support and Relationship Building

Design, implement, and maintain cloud network architectures, including virtual networks, subnets, routing tables, and security groups.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements and develop network designs that meet business objectives and technical requirements.
Evaluate and recommend cloud networking solutions, technologies, and best practices to enhance performance, scalability, and security.
Configure and troubleshoot network components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers in cloud environments.
Monitor network performance and implement optimization strategies to ensure reliability, availability, and scalability.
Develop and maintain documentation, diagrams, and standards for cloud network configurations and deployments.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in cloud networking.

Operational Oversight and Guidance

Coach, mentor, and provide technical leadership.
Mentor team members.
Actively encourage junior staff to participate in training and development in the form of company training, technical and business training, as well as relevant user conferences.

Core Competencies and Professional Qualities

Proven experience designing and implementing cloud network architectures in platforms such as Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS (and DNSSEC), VPN, BGP, MPLS, SD-WAN, and NSG.
Handson experience with network virtualization technologies, such as VLANs, VXLANs, and SDN.
Familiarity with security principles and best practices for cloud environments, including identity and access management, encryption, and network segmentation.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Certifications such as

Microsoft Certified:
Azure Solutions Architect is a plus.

Contract

Pay:
$ $100.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Security clearance:
