Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Nursing home

Location: Alma, MI

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Varies-Days/Shift time (6:00 – 6:30), 12 hrs/day, 36hrs/week

Summary:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a nursing home setting, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate and quality healthcare to residents.
LPNs are essential members of the healthcare team, responsible for delivering direct patient care, administering medications, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of residents.

Responsibilities:

1+years of experience as License Practical Nurse in Nursing home.
Monitor and assess residents' health status, documenting any changes or concerns.
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and mobility support.
Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers, ensuring accurate dosage and timing.
Maintain accurate and complete medical records, documenting all nursing interventions and resident responses.
Report and communicate changes in residents' conditions to the appropriate team members.
Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide first aid as necessary.
Collaborate with the healthcare team in emergency situations to ensure resident safety.

Education:

Current LPN license in MI.
Completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
Previous experience in Nursing Home.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Knowledge of LTAC nursing practices and protocols.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to providing high-quality care.

License/Certification:

State license (MI)
