Summary of the Position:

As a Shop Worker at Valmont, your primary responsibilities include performing assembly, shipping, packaging, and other general production tasks in a manufacturing setting. You will operate various tools and equipment and ensure quality checks are performed. Additionally, you will work as part of a team and independently on assignments.

Operate hand tools, air-operated tools, forklifts, and other equipment
Perform painting and priming using automated equipment
Conduct quality checks with precision measurement tools
Handle material, load and unload trucks, and maintain warehouse organization
Collaborate effectively with team members

Key Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities include:

Maintaining knowledge of various shop functional areas
Performing sandblasting operations (for Sand Blasting role)
Standing or walking throughout the shift
Safely moving objects weighing 40 to 50 pounds
Operating power tools, machinery, forklifts, and overhead crane
Adhering to overtime requirements for business needs
Having relevant work experience and professional skills
