JOB SUMMARY:


Settlements Services is looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to help with successful deployments of projects/programs related to new and enhanced services being implemented by the bank.

The Quality Assurance Analyst role is responsible for coordinating and/or performing a series of tests to validate that certain requirements have been met at the time of deployment to ensure successful handover to the Operational teams and to ensure that operational requirements are met prior to introducing the service into the live network.


Responsibilities:


  • Ensure all business requirements have been gathered for each deployment/implementation of a program/service from the Operational teams.
  • Ensure new operational procedures and processes which are being put in place for the project meet defined business requirements.
  • Write operational acceptance testing (OAT) plans and test scripts and obtain approval of the OAT plan to ensure the appropriate level of planning, testing, validation, and communication has been performed.
  • Create test cases and test scripts and ensure traceability and validation against business requirements is maintained.
  • Coordinate all phases of the OAT life cycle including validation of requirements gathering, test schedule and creation of findings report.
  • Produce reports and present data on OAT progress to stakeholders.
  • Communicate test failures and defects, including impact analysis, to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Determine if OAT is ready for approval, deferral or rejection based on content and quality of test results.
  • Determine when to escalate to management as opposed to following scripted procedures, depending on the seriousness of the anomaly.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


  • Excellent English language skills (verbal and written).
  • Excellent people skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills and can demonstrate proven track record in testing.
  • Capable of analyzing complex requirements and design specifications and designing tests to prove requirements have been met.
  • Ability to manage broad range of stakeholders in a highly pressurized environment.

Education, Training, and Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years' experience working for a bank (Operations, Finance, or customer integration)
  • Experience working in an Operational environment.
  • Experience in working as part of a diverse and geographically dispersed team.
  • Technical background is a plus

Salary Range:
$75,000-$80,000/annum
