- Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, systems, and testing for product quality and capability while always adhering to organizational standards and expectations
- Direct or coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, and documentation to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, customer requirements, project scope, schedules, and budget
- Maintain systems and component capabilities through rigorous testing, track cutting-edge trends, search for ways to improve functionality and efficiency, and implement appropriate segments to keep production methods current.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation for all electrical designs, including wiring diagrams and schematics, bills of materials, assembly drawings, design changes, test reports, design validation plans, and reports, ensuring that installations and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
- Review plans and specifications according to the project.
- Analyze Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing engineering problems and formulate solutions.
- Identify problems in the design, planning, management, and delivery of projects.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and technical project updates regularly to team and clients.
- Participate with the team to address manufacturing, design, or quality issues and ensure the continuous improvement of designs and processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- 1-4 years of experience in design engineering
- Knowledge of HVAC systems
- Knowledge of industry codes and standards
- Exposure to other Autodesk software, including AutoCAD and Vault or equivalent
- Working understanding of ERP software
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Passion and natural curiosity about innovative systems and designs
- Ability to prioritize and work independently to work on multiple small projects simultaneously, ensuring all key dates are met while maintaining the highest level of quality
- Experience in the A.E.C. industry, familiarity or interest in the design of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
