    POSITION TITLE: PHYSICIAN FLSA: EXEMPT

    REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

    • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Osteopathy (D.O.) Degree.
    • Completed approved residency program in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics.
    • Board Certified.
    • Florida licensed.
    • DEA License.
    • BLS required
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

    PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

    • Provides direct health care to general patient population, routine, acute, and chronic care.
    • After hours calls as needed
    • Serves as Family Practice/Internal Medicine/Pediatric consultant to other providers.
    • Supervises ARNP's and PA's as appropriate.
    • Provides patient education.
    • Actively participates in and promotes quality assurance program.
    • Obtains hospital privileges in respective specialty, as applicable.
    • Responsible for updating License and DEA renewals
    • Other duties as assigned.
