$ $34.00 per hour, based on experience

SUMMARY

The Facilities and Development Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Development and Facilities team, which oversees the construction and delivery of new stores/restaurants and facilities, as well as the remodeling of existing facilities.

This role will be located at the Base Camp (corporate) office located in El Segundo, California.

KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administrative support for Facilities team, including but is not limited to:
  • Maintains and coordinates work orders, proposals, and invoice approval through facilities service portal and approves Repair and Maintenance Appropriations within guideline limits.
  • Routinely communicates with operations and responds to calls from the field regarding repair and maintenance issues.
  • Assists operations with warranty issues.
  • Manages the coordination of transition from new store openings to operations, including the setup of new vendors and PM programs.
  • Maintains and updates shared files of the Company's system with current pictures of each restaurant (to include frames of roof, exterior, interior, and equipment) for access by the appropriate parties.
  • Visit job sites to assist FM on the admin side (i.e. taking notes, etc.).
  • Administrative support for Development team, including but is not limited to:
  • Maintaining a database of benchmark development costs
  • Collecting and compiling completion and turnover packages from contractors
  • Preparing closeout and reconciliation packages for landlords and finance
  • Track entitlement and licensing progress
  • Assist with buyout purchasing for New Store Openings
  • Coordinate execution of marketing graphic install for New Store Openings
  • Coordinate execution of cleaning and chemical install program for New Store Openings
  • Real time reporting and coordination of warranty and construction issues that arise during New Store Opening setup and training period via maintenance of an online issue tracking tool

COMPETITIVE PAY

  • All Mendo Base Camp members are paid on a biweekly basis

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:

years of experience in a similar role, including managing multiple restaurant projects simultaneously is preferred, but not required

  • Experience in restaurants, retail or convenience store preferred

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:


  • Highly organized with strong analytical skills and the ability to prioritize and work independently
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to interact with external and internal clients
  • Comfortable with working in a fastpaced environment with constantly changing priorities
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and effectively meet critical deadlines; natural curiosity for problem solving
  • Proven, solid Excel skills and exposure to automated accounting systems
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings is preferred, but not required
