Successful vehicle projects require strong and dynamic project management.

In our center, we are responsible for the SEC class, as well as GLE, GLE Coupé, GLS, and GLS Maybach series from concept to end of production, including model updates and facelifts.

Our goal is to find solutions for series-specific requirements and ensure the optimal fulfillment of maturity, timing, quality, and cost targets.

Your role is within the area of change and committee management in vehicle development.

The timely and cost-effective implementation is ensured through our cross-functional committees.

This makes us the interface between project management and component developers, as well as other departments such as purchasing, sales, logistics, and cost and assembly planning.

We ensure that all necessary criteria for meeting project goals (vehicle content, costs, timing, and quality) are considered in decision-making.

Through our proximity to the product and contact with top management, you will gain comprehensive insights into the company.

Some of the challenges you will face include:

Participation in change and decision-making committees and involvement in the preparation and follow-up of these committees (creating agendas and minutes in Mercedes internal systems)
Insights into the latest technical changes of current and upcoming vehicles
Economic insights into decisionmaking processes for product changes in a globally positioned company
