Description:

The Service Rep at LOC Medical Specialties sets the tone for the Patient Experience. Strong customer service, multitasking, and compassion required. Bilingual desired. This role supports in-person check in, registration, scheduling, and Telephone triage for our Medical Specialty clinic. The LOC Internal Medicine Clinic is open Monday-Friday and sees patients per week.

Hours for this role:

Team members have a standard schedule within the clinic hours, and also provide support to cover team member time off by flexing their hours during the clinic hours.

Standard schedule for this part-time role: Wednesday 1:30p-7:30p, Thursday 8:30a-1:30p, Friday 9a-5:30p

The role of a Service Representative at Loyola Medicine is essential in promoting a positive patient experience and ensuring efficient clerical operations.

Responsibilities:


Greeting Patients:
Welcome and assist patients as they enter the physician practice. Your warm and friendly demeanor sets a positive tone for their visit.


Phone Management:
Answer office phones professionally and assist callers by scheduling appointments and addressing inquiries.


Patient Registration:

Efficiently check in patients, collect accurate demographic information, input data into the electronic system, and verify insurance details to ensure the patient's records are up-to-date.


Check-Out Assistance:
Assist patients during the check-out process, provide guidance on referral processing, and assist with scheduling future appointments.


Minimum Education and Qualifications:

Education: An Associate's degree, alternatively, equivalent training acquired through work experience or education may be accepted. Training in general administration, business, healthcare, or a related field is preferred.
