- 3 12-hour night shifts.
- These shifts will be Sunday through Thursday but only 3 shifts per week.
- Positions patients and equipment, manipulates transducers and technical factors in order to obtain images, heart rates, waveforms and other information as needed to obtain optimum images and information for diagnostic purposes
- Notes velocities, measures structures and documents adequate clinical history as needed for accurate interpretation by Radiologist
- Coordinates equipment service, preventative maintenance and sterilizes transducers as needed
- Knowledge of ultrasound physics as well as cross-sectional and vascular anatomy and Doppler techniques in order to perform independent procedures to Radiologist standards
- Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Registered
- LICENSURE,
- Certification in ABD, or GYN, or OB, or Vascular
- Associates degree in related field

Our dedicated, expert team at AdventHealth South Overland Park, formerly Shawnee Mission Health - Overland Park, provides excellent care to communities of southeastern Johnson County, with 24/7 emergency room services, an advanced imaging center, physical therapy and more.
Performs diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures. Obtains and documents patient clinical information as needed. Assists in radiology department as needed.Responsibility to adhere to the Hospital Corporate compliance plan, to the rules and regulations of all local, state, and Federal agencies, and to the standards of all accrediting bodies.
Performs ultrasound Imaging procedures of abdominal, and pelvis structures. Also performs OB and trans-vaginal ultrasound procedures if applicable to facility. Performs small parts (Thyroid, testicular), and breast imaging as well as vascular imaging, and Doppler studiesCERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
