THE JOB
This is a
Senior Electrical Reliability Engineer position and requires someone who has minimum of four years of related work experience .
As a Senior Electrical Reliability Engineer your roles and responsibilities will include:
Execute the tactical development and delivery oversight of vision, direction, and strategy for electrical engineering.
Identify opportunities and bridge electrical engineering gaps in applications by establishing auditing control mechanisms.
Propose and develop recommendations in areas of improvement by implementing solutions to improve performance and identify acceptable risk tolerance.
Support the development of the most effective approach to identify, monitor, and implement electrical engineering standards, policies, procedures, and job aids.
Provide direct support and delivery of services for the organization.
Provide leadership in the planning and implementation of electrical engineering standards and deliverables for capital projects.
Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
Other duties as assigned.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Most importantly, you need to be a passionate Senior Electrical Reliability Engineer who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization.
Senior Electrical Reliability Engineer would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:
Bachelor s degree in a related field (Electrical Engineering)
Minimum of four years of related work experience
Experience with design and predictive maintenance of industrial power systems up to 15KV.
Knowledge of NFPA 70-E electrical safe work practices and experience leading electrical safety initiatives
Knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC)
