Title: Technical Trainer - Industrial Mechanical Maintenance (Open)
Location: Blair Nebraska
Salary: Full Time Salaried, up to $87,600 depending on education and experience
*3K SIGN ON BONUS - if within 50 miles of the site - (1K paid at 3 mths, 9 mths and 15 mths)
OR
*3K RELO BONUS - if outside of 50 miles of the site (1K paid at 1 mth, 2 mths and 3 mths)

What Will I Be Doing?
Here are just a few things you can expect to do daily:
*Team member must be able to work in a team oriented and safety conscious environment. "Safety First" expectations include, but are not limited to, PJHA process, Observation process, and compliance with all company / site safety guidelines and procedures.
*Identifying the educational needs of others, developing formal educational or training programs or classes, and teaching or instructing others.
*Assist in formulating preventive maintenance standards / work procedures
*Administer Industrial Maintenance Training Programs
*Present lectures and conduct discussions to increase employees' knowledge, using visual aids such as graphs, charts, videotapes, and slides
*Conduct on-the-job training, classes, or training sessions to teach and demonstrate processes, techniques, procedures, and/or methods of designated subjects
*Select and assemble books, materials, supplies, and equipment for training, courses, or projects.
*Administer oral, written, or performance tests to measure progress, and to evaluate training effectiveness
*Prepare reports and maintain records such as grades, attendance rolls, and training activity detail.
*Provide instruction and tutorial and/or remedial instruction.
*Provide Consultation and Advice to Others — providing guidance and expert advice to management or other groups on technical, systems-, or process-related topics.
*Updating and Using Relevant Knowledge — Keeping up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to your job.
*Coaching and Developing Others — Identifying the developmental needs of others and coaching, mentoring, or otherwise helping others to improve their knowledge or skills.
*Interpreting the Meaning of Information for Others — Translating or explaining what information means and how it can be used.
*Documenting/Recording Information — Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic/magnetic form; Performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork.
*Interacting With Computers — Using computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to program, set up functions, enter data, or process information.
*Deciphering Data or Information — Identifying the underlying ideas, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts.
*Drafting, Laying Out, and Specifying Technical Devices, Parts, and Equipment — Providing documentation, detailed instructions, drawings, or specifications to tell others about how devices, parts, equipment, or structures are to be fabricated, constructed, assembled, modified, maintained, or used.
*Write Grant Proposals/Applications—Working with state and federal entities to request, maintain information, and complete applications for training grants

• Education and Training — Knowledge of processes and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for employees and groups; ability to teach others how to do things.
• Engineering and Technology — Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying processes, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.
• Mathematics — Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications; ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide quickly and correctly; ability to select the right mathematical method or formulas to solve problems.
• Physics — Knowledge and prediction of physical properties, laws, their interrelationships, and applications to fluid, material, atmospheric dynamics, and mechanical/electrical structures and processes.

• Machine Reliability Procedures and Practices—RCM, RCA, Lean, Predictive technologies, Alignment, Planning, Scheduling.
• Communication Skills – Ability to communicate with others using verbal, non-verbal, written, reading, and listening skills.
• Industrial Health & Safety – Knowledge of industrial safety policies, and procedures; Provide assistance regarding the development, implementation, and presentation of training to the site safety department
• Deductive & Inductive Reasoning – Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense; Ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions including finding relationships among seemingly unrelated events or information
• Selective Attention – Ability to concentrate on a task without being distracted
