The Sterile Processing Technician I (SP Tech I) is responsible for decontaminating, processing, and sterilizing instruments, supplies, and equipment by following established standards/guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Completed a Central Sterile Processing technical course.
Work Experience:
One (1) year of Central Sterile Processing experience preferred.
Communication Skills:
Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact), Bilingual skills preferred, Reports
Other Skills:
Medical Terms, Word Proc
Work Schedule:
Weekends, Holidays, Flexible, On Call
Equipment Operator:
Sterilization equipment, decontamination equipment, computer/printer, elevator system, scope disinfector, heat sealer, and incubators.
