Job Summary

Long Beach Firemen's Credit Union is looking for an experienced Full-Time Member Service Representative I, II, III (Teller) who can provide excellent service while cross-training in various areas of the credit union.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Process deposits, withdrawals, and payments
  • Selling money orders and cashier's checks
  • Opening New Accounts
  • Assist members with loan requests
  • Maintain and balance a cash drawer
  • Answer phones
  • Assist with account research and back office functions
  • IRA experience is a plus
  • Consumer Lending a plus
  • Credit/Debit card experience is a plus
The above is a non-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned. All duties are to be performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Credit Union policies and procedures.


Qualifications and Skills

Minimum of 1 Year recent MSR/Teller experience with a Bank or Credit Union:


  • Computer skills including Microsoft WORD and Excel:

Outstanding customer service skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills:


  • Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.
