The Carstensen Import-Export Trading Company mbH is Germany's leading importer of school and office supplies of all kinds and also procures products from the product groups of garden and lifestyle items, toys, pet and textile products. Founded in 1991, more than 90 employees (m/f/d) currently work at the location in Ellerau (north of Hamburg). The Asian suppliers and international customers are served by partner offices in Bangkok, Shanghai, Jakarta and Sydney.

As a reinforcement for our team at the Ellerau location, we are looking for a

Controller (m/f/d) part-time

with a specialization in financial statements and reporting with business intelligence / Power BI.

Your tasks

This role is perfect for you if you have a passion for detailed financial analysis, financial statements, and data-driven reporting with modern business intelligence tools such as Power BI. You will be responsible for the following:

Financial statements: You will work on the execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Reporting: You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining regular reports, post-calculation, and ad-hoc analysis to provide management and departments with relevant data
Business intelligence: Lastly, you will use Power BI to visualize data and create meaningful dashboards that enable management to make informed decisions.
