Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our team.
As a Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our organization adheres to all relevant regulations and industry standards.
You will play a crucial role in maintaining compliance with AZ DHS regulations, Joint Commission regulations, CARF regulations, and ASAM regulations.
You will be responsible for maintaining company comliance training and documentation for every employee. You will manage chart quality assurance, and clinical documentation.Duties:
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures
- Conduct daily chart reviews to assess compliance with regulations
- Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance matters
- Monitor changes in regulations and update internal policies accordingly
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure compliance in all areas of the organization
- Investigate any potential compliance violations and work with the management team on appropriate corrective actions
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to compliance activities
- Stay uptodate on industry trends and best practices in compliance management
- Manage, direct, train staff, and complete Joint Commission, CARF, ASAM, and Opiod Treatment Program accreditations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., healthcare, counseling). License preferred.
- Proven experience working in compliance management, preferably in the behavioral healthcare industry
- Strong knowledge of AZ DHS regulations, Joint Commission requirements, CARF requirements, and ASAM levels.
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Proficiency in project management principles
- Detailoriented with strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Direct communication required.
Pay:
$64, $70,000.00 per year
