JHNA is seeking a
Force Operations SME in Falls Church, VA to leverage analysis and lead coordination to support the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E) Assistant Secretary of Defense for Mission Capabilities (ASD(MC)) and the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Multi-Domain Joint Operations (DASD(MDJO)) in advising the Joint Requirements Oversight Council (JROC).


Roles/Responsibilities:


  • Assist with planning and completion of Technology Modernization Transition Reviews, lending technical expertise to help with topic selection and technology evaluations.
  • Assist with Rapid Defense Experimentation Reserve (RDER) ideation process, helping with management and execution of Joint Design Working Groups.
  • Coordinate activities of large crosscutting communities of interest to address technical challenges.
  • Coordinate and develop holistic responses to OSD Taskings and Congressional requests for information.

Qualifications Required:


  • Bachelor's degree in any field AND, master's degree in Operation Research or Engineering OR possesses a certificate from advanced Professional Military Education relevant to Military Training and/or Military Planning.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience.
  • Experience working with Joint Staff, JCIDS, and military operations.
  • Active TOP SECRET clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI).

Qualifications Desired:


  • Experience with OUSD(R&E).
  • Must be forward thinking and able to take initiative with mínimal guidance.
  • Technical Writing experience.
