Description

We are seeking a friendly, compassionate, high energy and highly organized medical assistant that demonstrates initiative to join our growing healthcare team.

In this role, you will work at the back end of our medical office and provide assistance to our patients, visitors and other employees to provide the best customer service.

Main


Responsibilities:

Greet patients, vendors, and other visitors to our medical office in a friendly, welcoming, and empathetic manner,
Answer patient questions and provide assistance as necessary,
Maintaining the schedule and flow of the office, ensuring that the environment in the Office remains quiet, calm, and welcoming,
Register and update patient records both physical (paper) and in our Electronic Medical Record system timely and accurately,
Distribute forms and paperwork to patients and assure that they are completed appropriately,
Check a patient's vital signs, perform a physical exam and obtain the patient's medical history,
Collect specimens for lab tests,
Knowledge IV Infusions
Process bills, invoices, and patient payments,
Fill-out insurance forms, arrange laboratory services, coordinate referrals to other health professionals,
Prepare exam & treatment rooms between patients,
Coordinate and support patients receiving therapies (HBOT, PEMF, Neurofeedback, etc.)
Manage inventory of necessary office supplies and coordinate reordering,
Create, modify and/or translate documents in both English and Spanish as required,
Above all, maintain confidentiality of all patient records,
Support marketing and sales efforts
Requirements and Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a related field
At least 2 years of experience as a medical assistant or similar in a HIPAA-regulated environment,
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook),
Able to work part time Monday thru Friday, and Saturdays as/if needed in the future,
Customer-service experience and mentality,
Pleasant personality with strong interpersonal communication skills,
Ability to follow instructions and comply with all requirements & deadlines,
Ability to work under pressure and multitask,
Dynamic with excellent organizational and time management skills,
Emotional intelligence, problem solving skills, and the ability to resolve conflicts effectively,
Ability to work independently or as part of a team towards company goals,
Ability to collaborate with personnel from our other WIN offices,
Professional appearance,


Job Types:

Pay:
From $17.00 per hour
