    Description
    Medical Director, RNAi - Leading BioPharma
    Company – Leading NASDAQ Biotech
    Location– East Coast
    We're partnering with a well-established Biopharma, with a focus on RNAi.

    They believe RNAi could be used to create a new category of medicines with significant potential to improve the lives of patients with more prevalent diseases.

    Our client is seeking to become a top 5 independent global Biopharma with an extensive pipeline and commercialized products. This physician will be leading one phase 1-2 RNAi study with a focus on Neurology. This study with transition to phase 3 next year. There is an opportunity to lead additional studies for the right candidate.
    Summary of Key Responsibilities

    • Develop creative approaches to drug development and lead clinical efforts to aid global regulatory approvals.
    • Provide strategic consultation and guidance to Research all decisions that have significant clinical components and implications.
    • Work collaboratively with external and internal partners, investigators, and KOLs.
    • Be responsible for review and sign-off for all documents including protocols, IBs, and informed consent forms.
    • Lead a Clinical Scientist to help develop Clinical efforts.
    Experience

    • MD with Scientific or academic background in Neurology or Similar (Board Certification is beneficial)
    • Previous Leadership experience
    • Expertise in Clinical trials, and trial design, including FDA experience, Guidelines and Practices
    • Experience in early-phase development and previous filing of INDs is advantageous.
    • Experience managing internal and external stakeholders.
