Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our healthcare team.

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients.

This position requires strong medical knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.


Duties:


  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities
  • Assist with physical examinations and perform basic medical procedures
  • Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate medical records
  • Provide patient education on various healthcare topics
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique
  • Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures in the ICU

Skills:


  • Proficiency in medical records management, including ICD10 and ICD9 coding
  • Experience in providing care in an ICU setting
  • Knowledge of aseptic technique for sterile procedures
  • Familiarity with cardiac catheterization procedures
  • Ability to perform physical examinations and assess patients' conditions
  • Strong understanding of infection control protocols
  • Experience in home care settings is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
