Eglinton Property Management is seeking multiple Apartment Maintenance Technicians for our apartment community in Wayne, MI


Pay will be based on your ability and experience: $13 - $17/hour

Significant opportunities are available for promotions and wage increases after 90 days.


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Experience in property maintenance is preferred; must have good knowledge of skills needed to maintain a property.

We are ideally looking for people with experience with light electrical, light plumbing, interior painting, flooring, and custodial work.

People from all experience backgrounds will be considered.


  • Perform light electrical repairs, circuits, and installation of GFCIs, etc.
  • Complete light plumbing work such as clearing stoppages, replacing fittings, etc.
  • Replace broken glass, screens, garbage disposals, fixtures, locks, etc.
  • Paint interior walls and surfaces
  • Make sure storage areas and entrances are locked and inventory is constantly updated and reported to head office
  • Completes apartment make-ready procedures such as painting; servicing appliances, plumbing, and electrical fixtures; repairing old and faulty parts; replacing burnt-out light bulbs; checking/changing locks; and cleaning.
  • Assist in maintaining a well-organized maintenance shop, inventory of tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies.
  • Complete prep work for new move-ins including drywall/sheetrock repairs
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisors and head office
This is a full-time 46 hours per week position located at the apartment complex in Wayne:

Monday to Friday: 9 am to 6 pm (1-hour lunch)

Saturday: 10 am to 5 pm (1-hour lunch)
