It is in the flourishing urban of Pittson, PA where our state-of-the-art facility provides full-service packaging for all of our frozen meals.


As a Production Supervisor you will oversee all activities right from when the time the food and packaging enters the production room to when it leaves as a finished product ready to be shipped out.

Maintaining the highest food quality standards and ensuring production runs efficiently is your true main goal. You will supervise people and plan their breaks, delegate tasks, reward, dismiss, hire new staff. After the Production Run, documentation will be filled out by you containing all Production related data.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Verification of Components and packaging material for the production run, Labor management, Maximizing production efficiency, Food waste control, Upholding GMP's (Good Manufacturing practices), Labor Budget control, Documentation, Yield Management, Food consumption control, Data entry.

The primary tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Monitor the production process, make periodic checks and adjust equipment or work practices according to standard operating procedures. Ensure that a high quality of products, housekeeping and hygiene standards are maintained.
  • Promptly escalate issues related to production, quality, safety, or productivity to the Production Manager.
  • Manage overall product and packaging quality to ensure all standards and specifications are maintained.
  • Assist with development and training of associates for quality control and safety as requested.
  • Provide recommendations of specifications, inspections, safety, production, and quality processes
  • Must be available Saturdays as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years leadership experience preferably in a manufacturing environment; experience in the food industry is a plus but not necessary.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common reports and production documents.
  • Knowledge of Windows: Word, Excel, Outlook, Explorer and production software programs.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Strong communication and people skills.
