    SummaryThe business manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the department to ensure smooth functioning and achievement of organizational objectives. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, leadership skills, and hands-on operational & project management.

    Responsibilities
    1. Operational Management:
      • Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity.
      • Oversee the execution of operational plans, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.
      • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
    2. Project Management
      • Lead project execution activities, monitor project progress against the plan, track milestones, and manage changes.
      • Address issues, risks, and conflicts proactively, identifying solutions and escalating as needed to ensure timely resolution.
      • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external parties to ensure alignment and timeliness of deliverables
      • Create and maintain project documents and ensure regular, clear, and consistent communication
    3. Team Leadership and Development:
      • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
      • Support setting clear goals and expectations for team members, and conduct regular evaluations to assess individual and team performance.
      • Identify training and development needs, and facilitate training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the team.
    4. Strategic Planning:
      • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives aligned with the company's vision and objectives.
      • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and industry trends analysis to identify growth opportunities and market dynamics.
      • Recommend strategic initiatives and business development opportunities to drive growth and profitability.
    5. Stakeholder Management:
      • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, partners, and regulatory bodies.
      • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
      • Address stakeholder concerns and issues in a timely and effective manner to maintain positive relationships and enhance business reputation.
    Skills & Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, finance, or related field.
    • Proven experience in a managerial or leadership role, with a track record of successful operational management and business development.
    • Strong financial acumen, with the ability to develop and manage budgets, analyze financial data, and make informed decisions.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
    • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving innovation and continuous improvement.
    • Proficiency in business software and tools, including Microsoft Office suite, project management software, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
    Additional Information

    Salary commensurate with experience and background. Bonus eligible. Comprehensive benefits package includes: Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance, Parental Leave, 401k, STD/LTD, Discretionary PTO, HSA/FSA, Wellness Stipend.

    Actual compensation offered will be finalized at offer and may be above the posted range due to skill level, experience, industry specific knowledge, education/certifications, or geographic location. The offer represents the components of our total package.

    The work for this position will be conducted in an office environment. The role may require maintaining a stationary position for extended periods of time, operating a computer and other office productivity machinery, attending to tasks for extended periods of time, and communicating accurate information effectively and efficiently.
