    Job Description

    We are seeking a driven and process-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing accounting team. This role will round out our internalaccounting capabilities and financial controls, and reports to the Accounting Team Manager.
    Responsibilities
    Support Month-end close procedures including preparation of journal entries, recording of month end accruals, maintaining account reconciliations, and variance and trend analysis
    Analyzing financial information to validate statements are complete and accurate.
    Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending.
    Assist with Tax audits and tax returns.
    Assist with the annual audit.
    Ensure compliance with GAAP principles
    Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
    Liaise with our finance team on budget to actual analysis.
    Perform ad hoc research and prepare reports as requested by management
    Qualifications

    Bachelor's Degree, preferably in accounting or related field
    Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
    In-depth knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
    Experience with General Ledger functions and the month end/year end close process
    Detail oriented
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with all levels both within and outside the company

    Preferred qualifications:
    Experience with NetSuite a plus
    Good excel Skills
    CPA preferred but not required
    Additional Information
