Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (Medical Oncology-Supportive Care)
Are you eager to join our team at Logan, Utah, as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP)? Our team of top-notch physicians and APPs utilize cutting-edge methods and therapies to combat cancer cells. We create personalized care plans for each patient, taking into account their specific cancer type, stage, and other relevant factors.
As an APP at our outpatient cancer clinic, your main focus will be on providing supportive care. This includes advanced management of physical and emotional symptoms, as well as treatment side effects. Additionally, you will be part of a team providing follow-up and treatment visits to cancer patients.
Full-time benefits are available, with an average weekly schedule of 30 hours. There may be occasional opportunities to assist with after-hours clinic calls. Although your home base will be in Logan, you may be asked to provide coverage at other facilities via telehealth.
We are looking for an APP with a strong passion for oncology and experience in Oncology, Internal Medicine, or Palliative Care.

Additionally, you may be involved in research, protocol development, and implementing best practices for patient care throughout our organization.
Minimum Qualifications
Current state APRN or PA license and certification. Eligibility for Controlled Substance and DEA certificates II through V, as well as basic life support certification. Other certifications such as ACLS, PALS, TNCC, or NRP may be required.

Apart from your medical responsibilities, this role requires you to read and assess patient information, communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, and have manual dexterity for handling equipment. You should be able to lift and move heavy items, assist in patient transport, and stand for extended periods.
