Position Summary:


The Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing general administrative and field safety support to the HSE Department.

The position requires the ability to work collaboratively within the department as well as with operations to support the corporate safety program and promote better safety for our team members.


Responsibilities:


  • Comply with (and actively promote) all Safety policies and procedures including reporting all accidents, incidents, and nearmisses to ensure adherence to our Number One Core Value
  • Safety first, in everything we do.
  • Provides departmental general administrative support
  • Assists in tracking, reporting, and recordkeeping for the HSE Department, including safety metrics on all safety metrics
  • Assists in the development and tracking of safety training
  • Coordinates safety events as directed by the HSE Directors
  • Review and prioritize incoming communication (e.g., mail, requests, etc.)
  • Keep files organized by establishing, tracking, and updating file management
  • Assist in the preparation of correspondence, memos, reports, transmittals, presentations, and other documents, which may require the gathering of data from various internal and/or external sources
  • Proofreads content for accuracy and established formatting
  • Copying, scanning, and distributing documents as needed
  • Perform additional assignments as required by the needs of the corporation, or as otherwise directed
  • Meeting regularly with the HSE Corporate Director.

Qualifications:


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills including Office 365 productivity suite
  • Bluebeam experience a plus

  • Bi‐lingual (English/Spanish) preferred
