    Position: 2nd

    Shift Welder Job Location:
    North Branch, MN Compensation: $20-$30/hour

    Work Schedule:
    Mon-Thurs

    Job Details:

    Perform fabrication and welding operations for large hoppers and tanks, including leak proof processes, according to documented manufacturing procedures and prints.

    Set-up and operate Miller Axcess 40v wire feeder and Miller Axcess 300 pulse welder.
    Weld the tank and hopper walls using MIG and Pulse practices. Must be leak proofUse of jigs and fixtures required for a majority of all day to day operations.
    Self-inspect and evaluate the quality of products before forwarding to the next step in the fulfillment process.
    Other duties deemed necessary to support the Company's business operations (ie. Cross-trainable)

    Perform work at or above pre-established performance objectives.
    Keep the work area clean and organized, follow 5S guidelines.
    Follow work direction and training provided by higher level welding personnel.
    Actively participate in the Company's continuous improvement efforts by identifying and communicating basic process improvements.
    Ability to work well in a team environmentFlexibility and willingness to adapt to frequently changing priorities/tasksProven reliability - attendance and punctualityApplicant Requirements:
    *Employee owned tools required. List furnished upon request.*Must be 18 years of age or oldFrequent reaching and lifting 0-50 lbs. Overhead cranes available.

    Requires ability to grip with hands/fingers for sustained periods of timeRepetitious and sustained postures alternating between crouching, kneeling, bending, standing for extended periods of timeFrequent bending/ twisting/ turningFrequent and extended periods of standing and walking requiredSome use of ladders and climbing stepsOperation of equipment and machinery such as overhead cranes and/or forkliftsRemaining alert to surroundings, specifically when operating equipment and/or machineryMust be able to reason and partake in critical decision making.

    Attention to detail and concentration towards task at hand.
