    Description

    Role :: Software Integration /Embedded Tester

    Location :: Wilton,CT(Onsite)

    Type :: Contract

    Generally it would be a day shift (9 AM-5 PM) but occasionally might be asked to work during 2nd shift (2 PM- 10 PM)

    Job Description

    1. integration Activities

    a. Set and maintain test environment for integration including bringing up the system, installing software and required patches

    b. Define, execute, review and document test plan

    c. Document, review and maintain test execution results

    d. Log issues in agreed channel of communication with appropriate data as needed

    e. To have regular alignment with cross functional team and updating integration work

    f. Be in close proximity of lab / cleanrooms to help with hardware support for integration

    g. Support with debugging, recovery of test environment

    2. Support for software development:

    a. Design, implement, test and deliver software code to provide solutions for bug fixes and improvements .

    b. Good understanding of Python & C++ understanding ( should be able to deliver quick fixes )

    c. Familiar with Version Control Software tools like Git , SVN , Clear

    d. Ensure all Jira work items for integration work have details for issue description and traceability links

    3. Programming Language required: C, C++ and Python
