Job Description

As a Managing Operations Consultant you will be joining a team of high-performing internal consultants who act as strategic advisors and partners to Inspira Health's leadership team in support of operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Director of Operations Consulting Group, the Managing Operations Consultant is responsible for process innovation and continuous performance improvement initiatives across the organization.

This position will be responsible for acting as a change agent and work collaboratively with clinical and nonclinical leadership and frontline stakeholders at all Inspira locations to lead projects from start to finish.

The Managing Operations Consultant will be responsible for facilitating meetings and work sessions to identify and scope operational and business challenges and developing data-driven recommendations to drive operational efficiencies.

In addition to creation of sustainment plans, the Managing Operations Consultant will apply change management skills to instill ownership and ensure permanent adoption and success of improvement initiatives.

This role will closely collaborate with other Senior, Managing, and Associate Operations Consultants with the department to help proliferate LEAN Six Sigma and change management practices.

Six Sigma Certification preferred

Bachelors Degree Healthcare, Business, Industrial Services Engineering, or related field

1 year of experience in performance and process improvement including project and change management, Data Visualization and translating data to be understood and planning and executing performance improvement projects ,as a leader or support team member

Position Responsibilities

Performance Improvement:

Uses performance improvement methodology tools and techniques to conduct analysis of current state people, process and technology and assess alignment or gaps as related to future strategic priorities and established guidelines.
Design and conduct innovative thought exercises with key network leadership to create a shared vision for a desired future state.
Facilitates implementation of improvements by working with project team members to develop recommendations and/or strategies to achieve desired results.
Designs, implements, and reports on status, achievements, barriers, and outcomes impacting achievement of network strategic goals.

Data Analysis:

Translate project requirements to create and execute plan for collecting, interpreting, monitoring and documenting data and improvements from both quantitative and qualitative perspectives.
Analyzes data to identify trends and patterns.
Develops insights from qualitative and quantitative data to inform and prioritize project recommendations and decisions.
Ability to translate complex data analysis to be understood across all levels of the organization.

Project Management:

Utilizes project management skills to develop clear project charters, proper scoping, timeline management, data collection, and communication plans.
Ability to track milestone and deliverable progress, identify and communicate risks and barriers to key project stakeholders for awareness or assistance.
Ability to identify and develop control plans for continuous improvement and lasting change.

Strategic Executive Advisor:

Assists Executive Leadership with retrieval and interpretation of critical information to influence data driven decision making and prioritize improvement efforts as they relate to the strategic goals.

Mentorship:

Assists with proliferating the tenants of performance improvement and change management both internal to the department and across all levels of the organization to grow and strengthen Inspira's ability to continuously improve.
