    At DJ'S MARINE SERVICE, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional service and expertise to our customers in the maritime industry. As a Marine Mechanic, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing various marine vessels, ensuring they are in top-notch condition.

    As a highly skilled and experienced Marine Mechanic, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of marine engines, propulsion systems, and components. From routine maintenance tasks to complex repairs, you will diagnose issues, recommend solutions, and perform necessary repairs in a timely and efficient manner. Your attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot will be essential in ensuring the safety and reliability of our customers' vessels.


    Responsibilities
    • Perform routine maintenance on marine vessels, including engine tune-ups, oil changes, and fluid checks
    • Diagnose mechanical issues, using specialized diagnostic equipment and tools
    • Repair and replace defective parts, such as engine components, propellers, and navigation systems
    • Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations
    • Collaborate with other team members to complete complex repairs and installations
    • Keep accurate records of all repairs, maintenance tasks, and parts used
    • Provide exceptional customer service, answering inquiries and providing expert advice on marine maintenance and repair

    Requirements

    • Minimum of [3-5 years] experience as a Marine Mechanic or in a similar role
    • Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing a wide range of marine mechanical and electrical systems
    • Strong knowledge of marine engines, propulsion systems, and related components
    • Familiarity with marine safety regulations and best practices
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
    • Solid understanding of diagnostic tools and equipment used in the marine industry
    • Effective communication and customer service skills
    • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
