    Job Title: Business Development Manager

    Company: Georgia-Pacific

    Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team in the Great Lakes Market, focusing primarily on our box facility in Circleville, Ohio, and sister facilities in the GP Corrugated organization.

    About the Job:

    • Manage your territory with an entrepreneurial mindset to grow the sales pipeline.
    • Identify new business opportunities through various sources.
    • Understand customer needs and provide solutions using our corrugated product offerings.
    • Analyze customer and market needs to inform sales strategies.
    • Manage customer projects and ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with internal teams for seamless execution of sales initiatives.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
    • Deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.

    Skills Required:

    • Proven success in generating new business and building relationships.
    • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and resilience.
    • Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and passion for sales.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in corrugated, packaging, or consumer goods industries.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
    • Experience in generating leads and driving business growth.
    • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
    • Valid U.S. Driver's license.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with value-based selling methodologies.
    • Continuing education or equivalent experience in corrugated packaging.
