    POSITION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

    Position Summary

    Are you experienced as a Field Technician, Field Engineer, Service Technician, or are you seeking to kickstart a career in this field? Possessing tech-savviness, mechanical aptitude, and transferable skills? Can you contribute to delivering top-notch service?     Pay and Benefits:

    • Hourly Pay Range: $17.00 to $19.00, dependent on location and experience levels
    • Overtime available at time and a half
    • Benefits:
      • 7 paid holidays and 6 paid floating holidays

    NCR is seeking Field Service Technicians

    NCR's Field Services Team adds value to our customers by providing solutions that cultivate long-lasting relationships. Serving as the initial response to our customers, you will engage with them openly, helpfully, and interactively, with the primary focus on finding the right solutions. You will prioritize, manage customer issues, and even preempt some challenges. Irrespective of the scenario, the formal training (delivered through NCR) will equip you to meet customer needs promptly.

    Utilize your expertise to:

    • Execute customer installation, maintenance, and service calls promptly and efficiently
    • Service electromechanical equipment such as self-checkout systems within an assigned area
    • Conduct maintenance, repair, PM tasks, and system overhauls

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Resident of a specific geographic area
    • Authorized to work in the US
    • At least 18 years old
    • Possess a valid driver's license and a driving record that meets NCR fleet criteria
    • Proficiency in PC skills, basic electronics, and familiarity with specific hardware and operating systems
    • Able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
    • Willingness to travel extensively, driving several hours daily
    • Rotation of shifts, including weekends and holidays
    • Capable of lifting tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 75 lbs. unassisted, up to 150 lbs. with assistance
    • Physical capabilities include bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, manual work, and manipulating objects of varying sizes repetitively

    Preferred Qualifications (not mandatory, but a plus):

    • Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software
    • A+ Certification, CompTIA, N+ Certification
    • One or more years of relevant experience
