    About the Job:

    AllSTEM Connections is seeking a skilled Data Engineer/Database professional to join their team in Columbus, OH. If you are passionate about data and technology, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!



    Job Title:
    Data Engineer/ Database

    Work Permit:

    Columbus, OH (Relocation not provided)

    MUST have:
    • Teradata and DBMS knowledge
    • Cloud expertise
    • AWS experience preferred
    • ETL proficiency
    • Understanding of CICD and data warehouse concept
    • Skills in Java & Spark

    NICE To Have:
    • Abinitio familiarity
    - Postgres DB understanding
    - Python proficiency

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop software solutions, troubleshoot technically, and think innovatively to solve problems.
    • Write secure code and maintain algorithms efficiently.
    • Create architectural designs for complex applications.
    • Utilize tools in the Software Development Life Cycle to enhance automation.
    • Analyze and visualize vast data sets for software improvement.
    • Identify patterns in data to enhance coding and architecture.
    • Contribute to software engineering communities and stay updated on new technologies.
    • Promote a diverse and inclusive team culture.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Understanding of Data Warehousing Concepts
    • Experience with Agile project methodology
    • Ability to manage project risks/issues effectively
    • Knowledge of ETL technologies like Informatica or Ab-initio is a plus
    • People management skills are a bonus
