Key Responsibilities:
- Work with HR to identify a variety of sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals, to build a pipeline of talented individuals.
- Help to develop and facilitate employee engagement initiatives such as ERGs, recognition programs, wellness initiatives, teambuilding and events.
- Help to manage the full cycle recruitment process, from initial contact through onboarding.
- Implement and manage employee retention programs to enhance job satisfaction, engagement, and overall employee experience.
- Conduct regular employee feedback sessions, surveys, and exit interviews to gather insights and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze recruitment and retention data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas of concern.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with educational institutions, industry organizations, and other external partners to support recruitment efforts.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to recruitment and retention.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Achieve annual recruitment targets for various positions within the company.
- Reduce turnover rate by implementing effective retention programs and initiatives.
- Increase employee satisfaction scores, as measured through surveys and feedback.
- Improve timetofill metrics for open positions.
- Enhance diversity and inclusion within the workforce.
- Develop and maintain a strong talent pipeline for key roles within the organization.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Communications or related field.
- Proven experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or human resources, preferably in the construction or commercial contracting industry.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies, sourcing techniques, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make datadriven decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and applicant tracking systems.
- Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
