- Utilize data analytics and advanced statistical techniques to guide investment decisions and foster business growth.
- Work collaboratively with teams to identify opportunities for data optimization in investment strategies.
- Establish and maintain a solid data infrastructure to facilitate data-informed decision-making.
- Keep abreast of industry trends in data science and investments, implementing new tools and techniques as necessary.
- Lead the development and execution of advanced data modeling and predictive analytics for investment strategies.
- Offer strategic advice to senior management on investment risks and opportunities based on data analysis.
- Supervise the creation of data dashboards and reports to monitor investment performance and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
- Ensure data strategies are aligned and integrated across the organization by collaborating with other departments.
- Minimum of 14+ years in data science, with at least 6 years in Financial/Investment/Asset Management/Fixed Income.
- Experience in data science, statistical modeling, and time series analysis of financial markets data, Fixed Income Assets, and/or Investment Banking.
- Familiarity with Gen AI, Language Models, etc.
- Prior roles in asset management firms related to the front office.
- Proficiency in Python and/or R, knowledge of graphical packages like plotly or ggplot.
- Expertise in Statistical modeling, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, and coding languages such as Python, Pyspark, Keras/TensorFlow.
- Experience with SQL and at least one NoSQL database, working on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, IBM, etc.
- Collaboration with data engineers and fellow data scientists on feature analysis and Machine Learning model development.
- Ability to create data pipelines for app deployment and work with ML pipelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills applicable to big data environments.
