  • April Six is looking for a Resource Manager to enable our internal creative and media teams to_
- produce award-winning work for our clients. From integrated global campaigns to large-scale_
- website overhauls, April Six has a skilled set of creative marketers who will benefit from a_

  • Resource Manager who can help drive the processes to develop quality work from start to_
- finish. April Six is looking for a self-starter with experience managing people, processes, and_
- project in a creative agency environment._

  • The Resource Manager will work closely with the Creative Directors, Account Directors, and_
- the Director of Business Operations to lead and coordinate the day-to-day creative efforts and_
- ensure that internal processes are functioning efficiently, and work is going through the agency_
- in an effective and profitable way. This role is expected to oversee and maintain relationships_
- with several external resources including external creative agencies and contractors. They will_
- be responsible for driving communication between multiple stakeholders: account teams,_
- finance, media, HR/recruiting and creative; and for ensuring successful creative results that_
- exceed client expectations and meet business goals. They will support the creative process in a_
- fast-paced production environment that is always evolving to increase efficiency, quality and_
- speed to delivery._

  • Responsibilities:_
- _Manage daily, weekly and monthly resources for Creative, Production, Digital, UX,_

  • Strategy, Media departments based on the evolution of the agency and the business_
- _Lead daily and weekly resource meetings with Account, Creative and Media teams_
- _Monitor day-to-day project activities, tracking changes and identifying potential_
- instances of under-utilization; proactively solving challenges_
- _Understand team dynamics; participate in continual efforts to improve agency_
- processes and increase productivity; coming up with ideas, processes and tools to help_

  • April Six run more smoothly_
- _Maintain and maximize use of an integrated project tracking system_
- _Attract, engage, and maintain relationships with freelance talent_
- _Develop a set of freelance talent that aligns with key agency offerings_
- _Partner with Director of Business Operations, Managing Director, and other agency_
- leadership to derive and evaluate the data of project profitability, efficiency and_
- pipeline on a quarterly basis_
- _Become well-versed in each team member's strength, experience and passion so as to_
- best match team members with active projects_
- _Work with department leadership to audit, recommend and improve processes where_
- possible_
- _Serve as resourcing process lead for all new employees, ensuring the all team members_
- have proper training and understanding of the agency process_
- _Create a positive environment daily where creativity can flourish_
- _Become an active, positive member of the agency team through non-client related_
- special projects, initiatives, and activities_

  • Essential Skills & Attributes:_
- _Experience in agency project and/or creative resource management_
- _Proficiency in Asana, Workamajig or other project management platforms preferred_
- _Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills_
- _Patient and positive attitude_
- _Ability to handle multiple, sometimes conflicting priorities in stride and with a high_
- attention to detail_
- _Ability to plan ahead - regularly review, forecast and reforecast your project resource_
- needs_
- _Ability to navigate high-pressure situations, identify problems and solutions, escalating_
- to appropriate team members as needed_
- _Excellent verbal and written skills - communication and diplomacy skills are key_
- _Understanding of common file types, specs and vendor needs to be able to create great_
- work_
- _Strong Excel skills to update monthly/quarterly reporting and ad hoc reporting as_
- needed and derive value from data._
- _Understanding of agency processes and creative skillsets_
- _Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong creative, strategic_
- and time management skills_
