With your engineering acumen, you will delve into the engineering principles essential to the patent prosecution and counseling services offered to Fortune 500 companies. HFZ works closely with clients in diverse sectors such as automotive, aerospace, telecommunications, software, artificial intelligence, wireless tech, oil and gas, consumer products, valve tech, and biomedical devices. The seasoned intellectual property practitioners at HFZ will guide you through mastering the intricacies of patent law, involving tasks like drafting applications, formulating prosecution strategies, and aiding clients in managing their IP portfolios.     Compensation:

    • The salary range for this role is $70,000-$80,000, with actual salary varying based on experience.
    • Potential year-end bonus based on productivity.
    • Comprehensive Benefits Program covering Health, Life, and Disability Insurance, with optional Dental and Vision coverage.
    • 401K plan included.
    • This is an in-office position in Chicago with hybrid work flexibility.

    Requirements

    - Mechanical engineering degree

    - Strong academic record (minimum GPA 3.5 preferred)

    - Proficient analytical and writing skills

    - Advanced engineering degrees or relevant work experience
