MedTech DELIVER supports Johnson & Johnson: Medical Technology, and DELIVER NA leads projects across a sophisticated network of Distribution centers (DCs) across US and Canada supporting multiple distribution channels to J&J's broad range of customers.


As the Manager, Analytics & Innovation, you will be a leader for Deliver North America, driving the Analytics roadmap for MedTech Deliver, and executing the development and deployment of business intelligence and advanced analytics capabilities in support of business priorities and long-term strategies for the NA Deliver region.

The roles include partnering with stakeholders to develop robust Cost, Distribution & Transportation Operations analytics strategies & solutions across the E2E Deliver landscape, prioritizing and driving use cases to improve overall supply chain metrics and drive business value.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Sustainably develop and implement Deliver analytics capabilities which provide insights and allow the E2E organization to make informed business and financial decisions.
  • Develop in partnership with the Sr. Director and execute the NA Analytics 3 year Strategy inclusive of capabilities aligned to strategic priorities, data and technology strategies, analytics talent strategy and emerging digital technologies.
  • At a management level, you will drive prioritization for resources and funding to implement analytics capabilities.
  • Collaborate with key business leaders within and outside Deliver, and drive actions to meet partner needs via the execution of analytics capabilities.
  • Provide quantitative analysis and business insights for projects and strategic initiatives within Deliver and will partner to enable the implementation of these initiatives.
  • Manage an organization of 5+ individuals with responsibility building capabilities to deliver business intelligence to the NA Deliver and E2E teams.
  • Ensure the team develops and maintains indepth knowledge of analytics tools, crosssector business processes and data relationships covering the ordertocash process.
  • Benchmark and research best industry practices and emerging technologies

Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's and/or equivalent University Degree required; focused degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics, Operations Management, Operations, Business, Data Science, IT or a related field is preferred.


Experience & Skills

Required:


  • Minimum of six (6) years of relevant professional work experience
  • Proven analytics experience
  • People management (inclusive of developing, mentoring and coaching experience.)
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of Deliver and elements of the end to end supply chain.
  • Experience leading analytics or technology teams and developing and implementing an analytics capability
  • Proven experience partnering with and influencing business partners and key partners
  • Ability to develop innovative methodologies and solutions to difficult logistics problems and projects.
  • Ability to lead & get things done through influence versus line responsibility
  • Strong clear and concise communication skills both oral and written across all levels of the company.
  • Demonstrates organized, analytical approach to problem solving having experience in data analytics
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership for results and to and challenge the norm
  • Proven experience in successful change management of processes as they migrate to digital capabilities
  • Experience in LSS or JJOS methodologies demonstrating integration with Analytics deployment
  • Experience with Azure Cloud Platform (e.g. SQL DW, Databricks)

Preferred:


  • Experience in Logistics / Supply Chain or a related field
  • Experience with Analytics and Business Intelligence Tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, R)
  • Experience team leadership focused on analytics capabilities or outcomes
  • FPX training and/or Certification

Other:


  • May require up to 15% domestic and/or international travel to other locations and sites
  • The anticipated base pay range for this position is $99,000 $170,200/yr.
