Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Stocking Associate to join our team. As a Stocking Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our store shelves are well-stocked and organized. Your primary responsibility will be to receive, unpack, and stock merchandise in an efficient and timely manner.

Responsibilities:

Receive and unload merchandise from delivery trucks
Inspect incoming shipments for damages or discrepancies
Sort and organize merchandise on shelves according to company standards
Ensure accurate pricing and labeling of products
Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or overstock situations to management
Assist customers with locating products on the sales floor
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the stockroom and sales floor
Operate a forklift to move heavy items as needed (if certified)
Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals

Requirements:

Previous experience in retail or stocking preferred but not required
Ability to sell products by providing excellent customer service
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Familiarity with inventory control procedures is a plus
Ability to operate a forklift (certification preferred)
Basic math skills for retail calculations
Must be able to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
Attention to detail and ability to maintain organization in a fastpaced environment
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
