As a transmission network operator, we ensure the electricity supply for 11 million people - and ensure the success of the energy transition.

Around 1,200 employees are preparing our region for the future with a dynamic, intelligent network and making Baden-Württemberg an innovative hub for electricity in the heart of Europe.


The Network Access department is driving the energy transition successfully and sustainably, with a focus on our network customers.

We support the connection of battery storage systems, renewable energy installations such as wind and solar parks, and hydrogen-capable gas power plants.

In addition, we assist with network construction measures in contractual and network-related matters, and analyze all fundamental questions related to network connection, network access, and network usage.

These tasks, which are crucial for the success of the energy transition, are becoming increasingly complex and extensive with the ongoing transformation of the energy system.
