    As the Senior Manager of Service Center 1, your responsibilities will include recruitment, training, and supervision of employees, with a focus on enhancing employee engagement and maintaining transparent communication at all levels.     Key Responsibilities

    • Supervising all Service Center employees, managing hours, addressing payroll issues, and overseeing training and development
    • Planning daily manpower requirements to ensure timely freight delivery and pickup
    • Providing clear communication on Service Center productivity and company policies
    • Identifying cost-saving opportunities, enhancing efficiencies, and maintaining a safe work environment
    • Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies
    • Managing documentation and procedures for hazardous shipments
    • Implementing action plans for process improvement

    Critical Qualifications for Success at XPO

    Minimum requirements:

    • 5 years of supervisory experience
    • Thorough understanding of Less-than-Truckload (LTL) industry, transportation regulations, and safety standards
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a valid driver's license
    • Ability to work varied shifts and travel as needed

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
    • Experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and process improvement
    • Forklift operating experience
    • Strong multitasking and organizational skills
    • Previous experience in LTL environment and solid analytical abilities
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and administrative skills

    This role involves physical requirements such as lifting, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods. Additionally, it may require outdoor work in various weather conditions.
