Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shop Foreman to join our team.

As the Shop Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our shop, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining high-quality standards.

This is a key leadership role that requires strong technical knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team.

Duties:

• Receive material lists for field personnel, pull material from stock or order from local supply houses and schedule delivery to the jobsite.
• Assign tasks and projects to team members, ensuring that work is completed on time and according to specifications
• Monitor workflow and productivity to maximize efficiency and meet delivery targets
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment, tools, and materials to ensure they are in good working condition
• Maintain accurate records of work orders, inventory, and equipment maintenance
• Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or technical training is a plus
• Proven experience as a Shop Supervisor or similar role in a construction or manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of construction equipment, tools, and materials
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
• Strong problemsolving abilities and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills to interact with team members and vendors
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
