Description

This position is onsite for orientation and the first week, but then is 98% hybrid (remote and The Server Farm) as there are times when onsite in Harrisburg, PA is required for a day or so.
Candidates still need to reside within reasonable traveling distance of The Server Farm in Harrisburg, PA.
Commonwealth-issued equipment will be picked up during the orientation week.

Badging will be done during that week as well.
Work hours are 7 AM - 3:30 PM.
Method of interview is via Microsoft Teams.

This requisition's current PO is funded through 6/30/24, so use that date in the RTR.

Contract end date is dependent on the final schedule and projected needs. Historically additional funding should then last a year and occur from 7/1/24-6/30/25.***Key Responsibilities:' Technical Lead for all Active Directory related projects and operational supporto Support for teams requiring AD supportoLDAP integration, Certificates, Group Policy Admin, Domain Controller deployment and support,custom schema extensions, ADFS, PKI, and DNS, user logon scriptso Responsible for domain upgrade projectso Compose scripts to automate system administrative taskso Compose scripts for reporting' Office 365 related services and technology supporto Work with other IT support teams to trouble shoot issues related to authenticationo Skype for Businessvideo, meetings, collaboration supporto OneDrive for Businesssupport, execute department plans/migration of user datao Exchange Onlinesupport and documentationo Documentation and support for O365 SharePoint Online and Delveo Documentation and support of Office Mobile Apps on mobile deviceso PST Migrationmigration support and documentation as the department migrates PST data to onlinemailboxes (network upload or drive shipping)o Subject matter expert for implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions to support thedepartments effort to integrate with Azure Application Integration and Data/Analytics SolutionsPosition will work closely with:' Security Team, Core Network Team, SCCM Team, Workstation Support Teams, Mobile Device Management Team, Trainers, and other state agencies as requiredQualifications/Requirements' Minimum 10 years experience supporting and deploying complex Active Directory Domain Services' Must have strong scripting skills (VB Script, PowerShell)' Must have hands on experience with the following: AD schema extensions, promoting new domain controllers, designing and building new Active Directory services, troubleshooting replication, firewall configuration requirements for domain/domain client communications, advance group policy administration (WMI filtering, setting precedence, item level targeting), and OU design and delegationCandidate will:' Have a strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and/or industry activities' Be a strong team playercollaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources' Demonstrate a customer focus; building strong customer relationships' Have strong analytical skillsstrong problem solving skills, can communicate in a clear manner and effectively evaluates information to make decisions; anticipates obstacles and develop plans to resolve them' Be change orientedactively generates process improvements; supports and drives change, and confronts difficult circumstances in creative waysSkillRequired / DesiredAmountof ExperienceMinimum 10 years' experience supporting and deploying complex Active Directory Domain ServicesRequired10YearsStrong scripting skills (VB Script, PowerShell)
